Fete Harriett
On June 30, 2016, Fête Harriett lit up the night in Downtown Los Angeles at the event space, Austere, with live music performances, dancing and festive fare while raising significant funds for the Center. Approximately 200 guests from the fashion, law, entertainment, design and other creative industries came to support the Center’s work to help women escape the cycle of domestic violence and assist families in turmoil to start over with hope. The Host Committee included young women leaders committed to help some of the poorest women and children in LA. The Center’s Board President-elect, Amos Buhai, and his sister, Sophie Buhai, spearheaded this spectacular event.
